This is such a perfect answer to Paul’s Penny Lane. Everyone should try to hear what they did with Tom Paxton’s “The last thing on my mind” - orchestrated it into a masterpiece. And “my beautiful daughter” and so many great songs…
saw move in beckenham 70’s performed this song with this line up. 10 people in the place. I have to say they were great this song had just come out.
they were tremendous don’t forget this made no 1 in the usa. great song memorable band. the move. yes..
It’s odd……i find The Move a very important band in the development of Glam Rock, musically as much as in terms of style! Though, critics don’t mention The Move as a glam rock precursor!

Yes. at this same concert. They were also performing Beautiful Daughter and The Last Thing on My Mind. Both these songs were really released in 1970. Lol.
