ya its common. i think its just a unique thing that happens because its the only phone that allows the screen to click, so it moves around.

first of all i am an iphone user, but my cousin had gotten the storm and i got to use it for the first time. i must say, it is a very cool feel with the button, much-like the touchpad on the new macbooks. But tell me if this is common, for some reason his screen on his Storm tends to “move around” in its socket. Like it jiggles if you move the screen with your thumb. is this common?

I know how it’s spelled. =P
It’s shorter and a lot of people say “prolly” vocally and that could also be why people write it out that way instead of probably.

Im not trying to be an ass and i know this has no point but i wonder why people say prolly instead of probably is it because its shorter or is that how people think it is spelled. Again not trying to be an ass

you probably have the screen protector on it, take that off and it wil be good

its cool i did the same thing but i walked into verizon and asked.
July 20th, 2009 at 12:29 am
yeah, i realised that about ten minutes after i posted. i’m such an idiot!
but’s it’s fine. no scratches a week later although it is extremely bad for fingerprints - much more so than the iPhone.

the best scratch test is the use of something gritty. like sand or gravel or the edge of a brick scratching against it.
Those will scratch the screen.
July 23rd, 2009 at 11:43 am
those are prolly scratches on the protective film screen that is already on the phone when you buy it. unless of course you removed that screen ..

Got my Storm about 4 hours ago and there is already MANY small scratches. AGH,

well i dropped my blackberry on the floor and there is a huge crack right across the screen :(. so i obv wernt that lucky:/

tbh i dropped my storm in the road on a snowy day and a car drove over it. it left some water under the screen but in about an hour it had dried up. Apart from that there was nothing wrong with the screen. I have many scratches on the black and silver casing but none on the screen.
thanks for the test tho… no freaking way i would have done that myself!!

Don’t listen to anybody it’s all personally preference. I personally own a storm and love it. What you should do it go into your local store and try both phones for yourself and see what you like better.

hahahaha, yeah. This is a really complicated issue and I would not rely on some juvenille reply through Youtube.
