For many years the Blackberry had been the only smartphone on the market, and no one really used it for personal use. Once RIM began to offer smaller versions as in the Pearl and the Curve, interest in the Blackberry grew. II bought my daughter a blackberry pearl, its less than a year old and yesterday it suddenly started turning itself off, the battery is charged and weve taken it out and put it back in, she says she hasnt dropped it and i can think of no reason for it to do this.

I know I can open attachments and read documents. But is there any way to file those documents (Word or Excel) on the Blackberry for easy retrieval later (I know I can file them in e-mail folders but I am looking for some kind of document folder instead). Is there such a function on the Blackberry 8830? (I also know there is software that will do this but I wanted to see if the native phone has this function at all)
